FFA Convention 2026 Recap
Farm Credit Invests in the Future at the 99th Arkansas FFA Convention & Expo
Farm Credit was proud to be part of the 99th Arkansas FFA Convention & Expo, joining thousands of FFA members, advisors, and supporters from across the state for a week focused on leadership, growth, and the future of agriculture.
As a Silver Partner, Farm Credit is honored to support an organization that plays such a vital role in developing the next generation of agricultural leaders.
A Shared Commitment to the Future
The convention kicked off with remarks from Anna Lester on behalf of Farm Credit, where she spoke to the importance of investing in young leaders and the role FFA plays in shaping the future of agriculture. In addition to her remarks, Anna also serves on the Arkansas FFA Foundation Board and participated in meetings held during the convention.
Her message reflected a shared belief between Farm Credit and FFA: that agriculture’s future depends on strong leadership, fresh ideas, and a continued commitment to rural communities.
Supporting Student Leaders Through the Delegate Experience
One of the most impactful ways Farm Credit engaged this year was through sponsorship of the delegate experience. Each FFA chapter selects student leaders to serve as delegates during the convention, where they participate in leadership sessions and conduct the official business of the organization.
With more than 500 FFA members involved, these sessions are a powerful example of student leadership in action.
As part of this sponsorship, Farm Credit hosted a career panel highlighting the many ways our employees serve both our members and rural communities. Panelists included Anna Lester, SVP of Ag Markets with Farm Credit of Western Arkansas; Griffin Golleher, VP of Sales and Marketing with AgHeritage Farm Credit Services; and Mylo Ball, Vice President of Agricultural Lending with Farm Credit Mid-America. Together, they shared their career journeys, insights into the agriculture industry, and encouragement for students considering their future paths.
Investing in the Next Generation
Farm Credit’s commitment to youth in agriculture was also reflected through scholarship support. This year, five outstanding FFA members each received a $1,000 scholarship:
- Katie Willis, Bergman FFA Chapter
- Joe Burton, County Line FFA Chapter
- Bailey Malone, Gentry FFA Chapter
- Hannah Dooley, Mountain Home FFA Chapter
- Roxy Shoe, Pocahontas FFA Chapter
These students represent the dedication, hard work, and leadership that define FFA members across Arkansas.
Recognizing Excellence Through STAR Awards
Farm Credit also had the privilege of helping present the Arkansas FFA STAR Awards, which recognize the “best of the best” in Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) programs.
These awards highlight students who have gone above and beyond in their agricultural pursuits, with categories including Star Farmer, Star in Agribusiness, Star in Agricultural Placement, and Star in Agriscience. Each recipient demonstrates not only technical skill, but also innovation, commitment, and a strong work ethic.
Connecting with Members at the Expo
Throughout the week, Farm Credit welcomed students to an interactive booth space designed for connection and a little fun in between sessions. Attendees enjoyed a putting green, giant Jenga, and other games, along with limited-edition Farm Credit and FFA-branded playing cards.
The booth provided a relaxed environment for students to recharge, visit with our team, and learn more about opportunities within Farm Credit.
As another convention comes to a close, Farm Credit is proud to stand alongside Arkansas FFA in supporting students who are not just preparing for the future—but actively building it.
