Farm Credit of Western Arkansas is proud to announce the list of ten scholarship recipients of the $2,000 Farm Credit of Western Arkansas scholarships for the 2024-25 school year.

Scholarship recipients are graduating high school seniors and persons currently attending a fully accredited college, university, or trade program, as well as the children/grandchildren of Farm Credit of Western Arkansas members.

2024 recipients are as follows:

Rose Gunther of Bigelow
Lucy Jackson of Foreman
Alyssa Jones of Murfreesboro
Lauren Koch of North Little Rock
Emilee Lyons of Bradley
Bannon Price of Ashdown
Wesley Scroggins of Cleveland
Grace Wagner of Horatio
Rylee Youngblood of Ashdown

The scholarships are awarded based on academic achievement, demonstrated leadership, extracurricular involvement, volunteer activities, and financial need. $20,000 in total will be awarded in 2024.

"We proudly award these well-deserved scholarships to recognize these students’ academic accomplishments and leadership. We’ve distributed $400,000 in scholarship awards since 1996 to assist talented young people in achieving their academic goals. These scholarships demonstrate our commitment to the next generation of agriculture and community leaders."
