2026 Director Election Results

The Farm Credit of Western Arkansas Board is comprised of 11 directors: nine elected by customer-stockholders and two appointed Directors. Farm Credit of Western Arkansas members elected two customer-stockholder Directors to serve a four-year term beginning October 2026:
Area 1: Cody Jones of Sebastian County was re-elected to the Board for a four-year term. He has served on the Farm Credit of Western Arkansas Board since 2018.
Area 3: Caleb Plyler of Hempstead County was elected to the Board for a four-year term. This is Mr. Plyler’s first term.
Area 2: Jennifer Cook of Faulkner County was elected to the Board and will finish the remainder of the four-year term (2025-2029). She has served on the Farm Credit of Western Arkansas Board since 2025.
The Board appointed Director Jennifer Cook to fill the vacant seat in Area 2 from the time of the 2025 election until the 2026 Annual Meeting. A candidate passed away during the balloting phase of the election in 2025, resulting in a vacancy for this position in Area 2. The appointment of Director Cook expired at the 2026 Annual Meeting, and the term of office for this seat expires in 2029. Regarding the Area 2 position, the stockholders elected Jennifer Cook to fill this Area 2 seat for the remainder of the four-year term (2025-2029).
The following customer-stockholders were elected to serve a one-year term on the Nominating Committee:
- Area 1A: Chad E. Amos, Benton County
- Area 1B: Jason W. Thompson, Sebastian County
- Area 1C: Kevin Hightower, Crawford County
- Area 2A: Robert W. Caldwell, Yell County
- Area 2B: Ronnie R. Whitley, Jr., Logan County
- Area 2C: Troy L. Weatherley, Faulkner County
- Area 3A: Cody R. Askew, Hempstead County
- Area 3B: Judd Milam, Nevada County
- Area 3C: Tracy McLelland, Clark County
